I have always had a special place in my heart for children. During my college years I was wanted to obtain an elementary education teaching credential. I was fortunate enough to have had hands on experiences with children inside and outside of the classroom.  In one of those experiences I was assigned a position at an After School Child Care Center where I developed a special bond with the children there. They looked up to me as a role model and I certainly didn’t want to let them down. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with an emphasis on Child Psychology I changed my career goal from becoming an Elementary School Teacher to becoming a Child Care Manager.  I now have 8+ years of experience in the Child Care Industry.

Starting After School Club Ideas created an outlet for me to share my ideas and passions with others, who like me are inspired to make a positive, meaningful impact in kid’s lives. I hope you enjoy reading and I look forward to hearing your ideas too!
